Plan2Fly Expands Platform with Support from LAG MANK
We are proud to announce that Plan2Fly – with support from LAG MANK and the EU – has launched a new development project aimed at taking the platform to the next level. The project’s goal is to make it even easier for both drone pilots and end customers to collaborate effectively, scale operations, and make data-driven decisions. With a strong technical and organizational plan, we are already well underway – and the first modules are on their way into the real world.
Job Bank: Efficient Task Management for Drone Pilots
A central part of the project is the development of the Job Bank – a digital link between drone operators and customers. The Job Bank makes it possible for tasks to be created, matched, and distributed automatically based on skills, certifications, and geographic location. This creates a stable pipeline of tasks that reduces downtime and increases professional capacity within the network.
Enhanced End-User Value and Data Accessibility
As our platform expands, we are continuously working to create better insights and overviews for end users – especially for customers who need easy access to their drone data and previous deliveries. The goal is to support more long-term maintenance and data-driven decisions.
We have already established a clear direction for how this functionality can be integrated into the overall platform – including visualization, historical data, and benchmarks – and we are in close dialogue with several partners to ensure the solution meets concrete needs and workflows.
Design and Structure Ready – Now We Build
The visual design and user flows are being developed in close collaboration with Edentic, and we now have a clear blueprint for how the portal should function. The internal development team is fully engaged in coding and implementing the functionality – and the first integrations with existing tools such as Mission Planner and the data archive have already been tested.
A Greener and More Scalable Future
Plan2Fly supports both the green transition and the digitalization of the drone market. With this project, we are strengthening our ability to scale drone operations while delivering data-driven solutions that reduce CO₂ emissions, resource consumption, and operational costs for both pilots and end customers.
